Welcome to Earth Science !!!
Geology, the Environment, and the Universe will all be covered this year in Earth Science.  Through taking this course I hope that each student will question phenomenons and seek to solve problems found within nature.

We will begin our journey with an introduction to the Nature of Science and conclude our studies by exploring galaxies in the universe.  I hope that the material that is presented will motivate students to research topics related to Earth Science and promote a better understanding of scientific concepts.  I have found that many students have difficulty explaining why certain events occur in nature and my goal in teaching is to help students develop a greater understanding of science through hands on activities and meaningful classroom discussions.
